For many poker players finishing on the bubble, one position outside of the money, is worse than being the first to bust out of a tournament. It's almost within your grasp, you're sitting on the fence between leaving the table penniless, or having the bankroll to return another day and then - suddenly - you're out. It's over.

Anyone who's ever pushed chips across the felt can relate to the gut-wrenching experience of finishing one position from the prize pool, but imagine facing off against some of the best in the World Series of Poker only to go out on the bubble.

At Hollywood Poker we don't think that anyone should have to face this harsh poker reality, which is why we're offering Tournament Insurance at the WSOP. You heard right! If you finish on the bubble at this year's World Series of Poker, Hollywood Poker will pay you the final payout amount (last year's final position paid $12,500) if you finish within five positions below the final paid position.

How do I qualify?

If you've won your way into the WSOP via one of Hollywood Poker's WSOP satellites, or if you're a registered Hollywood Poker Player who is going to the WSOP on their own bankroll, you can register for tournament insurance by simply clicking the 'WSOP Tournament Insurance" button on your 'My Account' page. You'll have from the moment you click to register until the day before the WSOP starts to earn 1000 Poker Points and that's it. You're insured! Tournament insurance will be available in April.
