Hollywood Poker's World Poker Tour Celebrity Shootouts I and II saw an impressive turnout of both players and celebrities. Hollywood Poker's celebrity players Kane Hodder (Jason X) and Josh Malina ("West Wing") were the last celebrities standing in their respective tournaments and they went on to represent us at the WPT Legends of Poker Tournament at the Bicycle Casino. Celebrity Shootouts I and II winners Aaron Marquitz and Patrick Johnson traveled to Bell Gardens California to play for the Hollywood Poker team along with our signature celebrities James Woods and Vince Van Patten. Marquitz and Johnson earned their way into this WPT event by virtue of the sharp poker skills that also scored them 1st place prize money in the $10,000 guaranteed World Poker Tour Celebrity Shootout tournaments.
Other Hollywood Poker celebrities who participated in Celebrity Shootouts I and II, included Kirk Acevedo ("Band of Brothers"), Pamela Gidley ("CSI"), Nicholas Gonzalez (Anaconda 2), Jon Landau (Titanic), Michael Woods ("Rudy: The Rudy Guiliani Story"), Michael Ian Black ("Stella"), Jon Favreau (Swingers), Jonathan Baker ("The Amazing Race"), Seth Meyers ("Saturday Night Live"), Anthony Denison ("The Closer"), Kelli Williams ("The Practice"), Ken Howard ("Crossing Jordan"), Jimmy Van Patten, Scott Baio ("Charles in Charge"), James Woods (Pretty Persuasion), Erik Palladino ("Over There"), Alan Rosenberg (Robots), Morris Chestnut (Boyz n the Hood), Tom McGowan (As Good as it Gets), Bob Goen ("Entertainment Tonight"), Noah Emmerich (The Truman Show), Yancey Arias ("Kingpin"), Brad Sherwood ("Whose Line is it Anyway"), Joe Cortese (American History X), Ronny Cox (Total Recall), Mimi Rogers (Austin Powers), Michael Kane (All The Right Moves), and Timothy Busfield (Field of Dreams).
