The events will focus on No Limit Texas Hold'em, Texas Hold'em limit, Texas Hold'em Pot limit, Pot Limit Omaha and Omaha hi/lo events.

GSOP VIII MAIN EVENT QUALIFIERS

It just doesn't get easier than this – watch out for our daily qualifiers, for a chance to get free entries to the different GSOP events! Qualifiers are already up and running as of January 2, 2012. That's nearly two months before the first GSOP event rolls out, giving poker players multiple chances to gain entry into the exciting tournament events.

So battle it out and fight your way to the top with the help of our qualifiers!

SIDEBET LEADERBOARD

There's more than one way to earn a seat at the Grand Slam Final. Secure the Top 100 positions in the Sidebet Leaderboard and you're in! Top 2-100 leaderboard placers will be given free entries to the Grand Slam Freeroll Qualifiers, where 3 Grand Slam tickets are up for grabs. Meanwhile, the player to emerge as number 1 from the Sidebet Registration tournament will receive a $500+25 ticket for the GSOP VIII Event 17 – a main event with guaranteed $500,000 cash prize.

GSOP LEADERBOARD AND GRAND SLAM FREEROLL QUALIFIERS

As you participate in the 19 GSOP events, you will earn points towards a leaderboard. Secure the Top 1 position and get your hands on a free ticket to the Grand Slam Final or a $5,000 refund if you're already qualified from winning an event. Didn't make it to the first spot? Don't worry! Three Grand Slam freeroll qualifiers will be open for overall leaderboard placers 2-100. Each qualifier will grant the lucky winner with one Grand Slam Final ticket worth $5,000.

The leaderboard scores points are based on a formula where players that enter in many events will be awarded more than just the occasional win of a big event. It is more rewarding to compete in all events in order to finish high in the final leaderboard. All players in the field will be awarded points towards the leaderboard.

GRAND SLAM LAST CHANCE QUALIFIER

If you think you've missed all your chances of getting a Grand Slam ticket, think again! Before the final GSOP event begins, there will be a $50 Last Chance qualifier where six lucky poker players will win a last-minute entry to the GSOP VIII Grand Slam Final. Enter this exclusive qualifier on March 18, 2012 at exactly 17.45 CET and lock your seat at the Grand Slam table!

GRAND SLAM FINAL DIRECT BUY-IN

Who says you don't have an easy way to enter the GSOP VIII Grand Slam Final? Buy-in directly for $5,000 and you're all set to conquer the Grand Slam tables and win your cut of the massive $500,000 guaranteed prize pool!

GSOP MINI MAIN EVENT QUALIFIERS

Do you want more poker action? Get into the main events of GSOP Mini in two simple ways: First, buy in directly from as little as $5 and $10. Second, since there are no direct qualifiers to the GSOP Mini events, tickets won in the regular qualifiers can also be used in the GSOP Mini.

GSOP MINI GRAND SLAM QUALIFIERS

Fight your way up to the final showdown and take your share of the huge prize pool!

1. Participate in any or all the 19 GSOP Mini main events and win! Each event winner is entitled to receive a free ticket to the Grand Slam Mini Final.
2. By participating in the GSOP main events, you will earn points towards a leaderboard. Climb up to the first spot and claim your free entry to the final event. Leaderboard placers 2-100, meanwhile, will be entered into one of the three qualifier tournaments, where 3 more Grand Slam Mini tickets will be given away.
3. Win a last-minute entry to the Grand Slam Mini Final through joining the Last Chance Qualifier on March 18th at exactly 17.45 CET. Hit the tables to a full blast, as 10 Grand Slam Mini tickets are waiting for you!
4. Aside from these three, there will be daily qualifiers for the Grand Slam Mini Final during the GSOP period with buy-ins of $5 and $10. These qualifiers are rebuy tournaments, granting the winner with one Grand Slam Mini Final ticket worth $525.

To qualify for the Sidebet, all you have to do is buy in for $1,000. This will send you into the GSOP Sidebet Registration tournament, which will run as a Mad-Tilt tournament on February 26th 2012 at 19:00 CET. Every player will receive a "GSOP Sidebet" ticket, confirming their participation in the sidebet.

The winner of the Registration tournament will receive a $500+ $25 ticket to the GSOP VIII Main Event 17. Meanwhile, the Top 2-100 players of the Sidebet leaderboard will get freeroll tickets to the Grand Slam Leaderboard Freeroll Qualifiers, where 3 Grand Slam Final tickets are waiting to be claimed.

• All participants of the GSOP must be 18 years of age and above.
• Players who win more than one $5,000 Grand Slam Final ticket will be eligible for a refund for the excessive tickets. Sidebet winners will be paid out manually after all the GSOP events have been played out.

• Players who win more than one $5,000 Grand Slam Final ticket/ $525 Grand Slam Mini Final ticket will be eligible for a refund for the excessive tickets.
• Sidebet winners will be paid out separately after all the GSOP events have been played out.
