At Hollywood Poker, we've created a tournament where your hard work and dedication to our site pays off with a piece of $10,000.00 in available prize money!* It's called The Big Break Freeroll, and it gives you the chance to double, triple, or even quadruple your winnings based on how many Poker Points you earn in the weeks preceding the tournament. The only question is this:

How does it work?

The tournament is a $2,500.00 guaranteed freeroll, with prize multipliers that offer a potential $10,000.00 in prize money. In the weeks before the tournament, from April 18th at 5 am EST to May 6th at 5 am EST, we'll be watching how many Poker Points are earned by our players. In order to acquire Poker Points and to qualify for the Big Break Freeroll, you need only to have made a first time real money deposit during your Hollywood Poker career. For established real money players, though, only 50 of those total Poker Points need to have been acquired in the allotted period of time. The difference can be drawn directly from previously earned points.

*Remember, only 50 of these Poker Points must be acquired in the allotted time period.  Additional points earned previously will count toward the "total points required" for the purpose of reaching higher multiplier levels.*

For Example
If you had 300 points in your account and then earned 50 Poker Points between April 18th at 5 am EST and May 6th at 5 am EST, your 350 point total would make you eligible for triple the money. Another example where you would be eligible to have your winnings tripled is if you already had 275 points and then earned an additional 75 in the weeks before the tournament, as your total would also be 350. The only stipulation is that 50 of the points counted toward the bonus be acquired in the specified period of time.

Hollywood Poker is offering this tournament as a means of rewarding its players. Unlike some of the promotions at other sites, the Poker Points used to calculate your prize earnings will not be deducted from your account. That's right! It doesn't cost you anything. We're multiplying your tournament winnings just for earning the Poker Points. It's our way of thanking players for their ongoing support of Hollywood Poker as we continue to grow.

How and when?

The Big Break Freeroll tournament will be held on May 8th at 3 pm EST. Entry into the tournament is on a first come, first served basis for the first 2000 real money depositing players. Registration opens one and a half hours prior to the tournament start time.
