Hollywood Poker would like to extend a HUGE thank you to the players who participated in the Tsunami Relief Tournament on January 25, 2005.

You may have heard James Woods talk about the Tsunami Relief Tournament on The Tonight Show, Dennis Miller, Jimmy Kimmel, The Late Late Show and Howard Stern. His passion and enthusiasm carried over to the players who came out and played in this worthwhile event. 

The East Africa and South Asia earthquake and tsunami disaster has devastated many parts of the area and destroyed the lives of many of the people that lived there. The collective compassion of 79 remarkable players at HollywoodPoker.com raised $1580.00 that will go towards helping rebuild the area and the lives of the people who were affected by this tragedy.  HollywoodPoker.com was proud to match 100% of the prize pool. All proceeds from the Tsunami Relief Tournament will be going to the American Red Cross where it will be distributed to where it is needed most.
