Tournament Rules
Tournament Rules:
1. All tournaments run according to schedule. If a player is not present at the beginning of the tournament, that player will forfeit his or her seat at the table.
2. A player cannot change seats after the tournament has started, except when the tables are being "balanced" as players are eliminated.
3. Tournaments end when one player wins all the other players' chips.
4. If two players are eliminated on the same hand, the player who began the hand with the most chips will place higher in the final ranking. If they started with the same number of chips, it will be ranked as a tie and prizes will be divided equally between them.
5. If an eliminated player was set to post blind on the next hand, the subsequent players will be excused from one or both blind posts.
6. When there are only two players remaining, the player with the dealer button will post the small blind and will act first on the opening round.
7. In the case of a disconnection from a game (the risk of which the player accepts) caused by a problem in a player's computer, the disconnected player will have 30 seconds added to the time already allotted for action. Hollywood Poker does not accept responsibility for a player's disconnection unless it is caused by a problem on our end, such as a server crash.
8. If a player's connection fails during a hand, he or she will automatically fold that hand.
9. If a player is not connected before the start of a hand, he or she will be dealt in and a blind ante will be added to the pot.
10. Any players caught playing unethically – especially those in collusion - will be disqualified and may have their Hollywood Poker accounts permanently closed.
11. As players are eliminated, the remaining players will be randomly shuffled to other tables to keep the number of players at each table as balanced and equal as possible.
12. A bet and 3 raises are allowed in structured-limit games. There is no limit to raising in pot-limit and no-limit games.
13. In the unlikely event of a server crash, the tournament will be paused and later restarted at the same point. If that proves impossible, the funds remaining in the prize pool will be divided by the remaining players in the game.
14. Prizes will be awarded according to the prize list.
15. Players may not discuss hands until all gaming action is finished.
