1. How do I create a private table?
Click on the "Create private table" button. Select the type of game you want to create from the list, set your preferences, then click on "create" to confirm. You are ready to go!
2. What is "Quick Seat"?
The Quick Seat function is a handy tool using a wizard to get you to a table of your preference quickly. You don't have to spend a lot of time looking for a table that suits your needs because you can choose your game type, limit preference, the stakes; and HollywoodPoker will automatically sit you down at a table that matches your requirements.
3. How do I change seats at a poker table?
To change seats at a table, you have to leave the table and come back, after which you will have to pay the blind. This is to prevent players from changing seats deliberately in the middle of a session to avoid the oncoming blinds.
4. Can I bring more chips to the table without leaving the game?
You can sit out when a hand finishes and click on ?Cashier? on the bottom left corner to bring more chips to the table, but you will have to pay the blind when you sit in again.
5. Why can't I bring more chips to the table?
Players are only allowed to bring up to 100 times the minimum bet for no-limit games to the table. This is to make the game more even and prevent certain players from having too big a chip advantage over the rest.
6. What do the table abbreviations and symbols mean?
The symbols and abbreviations for the tables in the lobby are as follows:
HE = Texas Holdem 7S8 = 7-Card Stud Hi/Lo 7S = 7-Card Stud OH8 = Omaha Hi/Lo OH = Omaha Red padlock = private table, creator?s permission needed Clock or Stopwatch = adaptive or turbo speed (faster than normal)
7. What does "delay" by the side of each player's Nickname in the lobby mean?
That indicates the approximate response time between each player's computer and our server.
