Help >> Poker Points Freeroll Tournaments
1. What is a Poker Points Freeroll?
The Poker Points Freeroll is a tournament where players buy-in with a certain amount of acquired Poker Points and compete for cash prizes.
2. How do I know if I’ve qualified?
On My Account you can see how many Poker Points you have earned during the week. As soon as you reach the amount required for a particular tournament, a tournament ticket will be available to you. To register for the tournament, click on the ticket and follow the instructions.
3. What does it cost to enter?
The buy-in for each Freeroll is different for each tournament. The required buy-in points must be won during the week of the tournament - you can not use points earned last week to enter this week’s freeroll.
4. Can I sell or give away my ticket?
No, a freeroll ticket is personal and can not be sold or handed over to somebody else.
5. What happens to my ticket if I miss the tournament?
At the moment, tickets are only valid for that particular week and will expire when the tournaments have started. However, we will be bringing in additional options for players to use their Poker Points in more flexible ways, so your points will not go to waste.
6. I've claimed the ticket. Do I need to register for the tournament?
Yes. Claiming the ticket does not automatically register you for the tournament.
7. I've qualified for one of them. How do I claim my ticket?
If you have qualified for any of the Poker Points Freerolls you will see an option in My Account for you to claim your ticket. Note that your weekly points will be deducted, although your total accumulated points from day-one is still intact. You can use the ticket by simply registering for the tournament. In any case, should you change your mind and want to play in another Poker Points tournament, you can return your ticket at the My Account page, provided the tournament has not started.
