All players making a contribution to the pot will be eligible to receive Player Points.

In tournament play, five Player Points are awarded for every dollar paid in Real Money entry fees. For example, if you enter a $20+$2 tournament, you'll receive 10 Player Points - five for each fee dollar paid. These points are awarded at the end of the tournament.

Quick Tips for Acquiring Player Points

  1. If you are a low stakes player, acquiring points is still possible. Before selecting a table to play, first check the average pot size and flop percentage at your desired stake level. Tables that have a high flop percentage or higher average pot are more likely to provide you with more Player Points.
  2. It is typically easier to acquire Player Points in no limit games - even at the .25/.50 stakes level. If you are a tight and disciplined player, low stakes no limit can be very good for accumulating points while not risking a large portion of your bank roll.
  3. Tournaments are a guaranteed way to acquire Player Points and enjoy the thrill of no limit or limit poker. Single table tournament entries start as low as $1+.30, take about an hour to play and you earn five Player Points for every dollar paid in fee.
  4. Perhaps the best tip for acquiring points is to be observant and patient. It is a good idea to watch the table you want to play before leaping in. Determine if the type of play at that table is best suited to your game.

Good luck and have fun!
