HOLLYWOOD, CA (March 23, 2006) – Hollywood Poker (http://www.hollywoodpoker.com), where the stars come to play is the proud new sponsor of rookie driver Troy Hanson, who pilots the #8 Hollywood Poker/Michael Crawford Motorsports entry for the Indy Racing League’s official development series, the Indy Pro Series. With this relationship, Hollywood Poker becomes the first online poker site to sponsor an Indy Pro Series racecar.

Hanson is a former driver for Team Lexus and is a veteran of the Grand American Cup Series and the Rolex Sports Car Series. Although now a resident of Hollywood, California, Hanson grew up near Indianapolis Motor Speedway, the host of the "Greatest Spectacle in Racing," the Indy 500. The Indy Pro Series is the premiere development program for drivers, teams and sponsors striving to compete in the IndyCar Series and the Indianapolis 500. The 12-race schedule in 2006 combines both ovals and road courses at some of the most famous racetracks, including Watkins Glen and the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. Drivers compete for $3 million dollars in prize money, the glory of running with the Indy Racing League and a chance to run in the Indy 500.
