Showing Hole Cards When All-in T asked:
While playing with real players in Texas hold-em, a player bets "all in", two other players match the bet. Does anyone show their hole cards? The other two players still have chips to bet.
Hi T, thanks for your question!
When one players is all-in but there is still action (such as when there are two other players remaining in the pot with chips), no one is to turn over their hand. No hands should be turned over until all action has been completed. Action is only complete when either (1) all the players in the pot have bet all their chips, or (2) the hand has reached a showdown and all players will then turn over their hands.
When in doubt, just leave the cards face down until showdown to avoid problems with exposed cards.
Good luck at the tables!
