So, I have noticed a lot of you men sit down at a table with me and type, it's not really her, it's her boyfriend. So to answer all of your stupid question, yes it is me. Some of you think I am less of a player because I am a woman. And no, just because I have boobs doesn't mean I don't know how to play poker, and just because I don't scratch myself and fart (in public), doesn't mean I can't beat you. I noticed there are a lot of women players on the site; some admit they are and some I think don't admit it. For those of you who don't admit it, why? I think we as women have a huge advantage over the men. There are a lot of excellent women players. I met one a couple of months ago, playing here at Hollywood Poker. She is awesome, I have played at some final tables with her, and she is an excellent tournament player.
But anyway, I thought I would write this blog on the advantages women have over the men. When I play at a Casino, I always go with my hair and make-up done, and of course I show a little skin (cleavage). As a woman, I have learned one thing in life, you can get anything you want from a man, because a man's happiest moment, is his weakest. If you know what I mean.
Using your sexuality at the tables can either:
- Distract the player's concentration.
- Make him think you are just some dumb chick that doesn't know what she's doing, or...
- If you're playing with some really good players they don't even pay attention because they probably know what you are doing.
Also another advantage, using the fact you are a woman to put them on tilt. After I beat a guy out of a pot I like to tease a little bit, because no matter how old the guy is no man likes to get beaten by a woman. They will either:
- Get really mad and get put on tilt so you have the advantage of predicting his cards.
- Get really mad and snap back at you and try and put you on tilt. But always remember Poker is a mind game, don't let them get under your skin no matter what they say to you, or c. again they know the game and know what you trying to do and ignore you.
Of course as soon as you sit down you have an overall psychological advantage, when the guys at the table see a woman walk over with this huge stack of chips, they think "YES this stupid chick is going to give me all of her chips!" So as women, we can play just as well if not better than the men. Now I am not bashing you men out there, I am not one of those women who hates men. My favorite poker player is a man, majority of my favorites are men. I also know you guys have advantages over us as well, it can be intimidating playing with you guys sometimes. So in closing to this blog- be careful who you play with, women are taking over the tables!!!!!
