A lot of you who have gotten to know me from the site, know that I have been working at MGM Grand Casino as a cocktail server, for quite sometime. And recently I made my decision to follow my dream and Play Poker Professionally. So I made a pretty big decision. I have been playing at two of three casino's in Detroit (avoiding the one I worked at) and of course online. People think I am out of my mind! Quitting my great paying, fun job to gamble with my hard earned money. However, like a lot of you reading this blog, I absolutely love Poker. I love how my heart races when I am bluffing someone out of a huge pot, or the decision on whether or not to fold my set when there are three spades on the table. Or when I get out of bed, grab my laptop, log on to three different tables and start playing.
I don't know exactly what it is that makes me constantly think about poker, I just love it! I even love the dark side of poker, like when I flopped top pair and a player who has been playing tight the whole tourney bets me out of a pot and shows me his bluff. Sometimes I even dream about poker, cards flying at me, and really, really strange players. LOL, I know it sounds weird. I am obsessed. So I know in my heart I have made the right decision. No matter how crazy it may seem to your average nine to fiver, I am happy to do what I love to do.
So hopefully all goes well for me at the tables. So if we are ever at the table together, wish me luck in my new challenging, stressful, exciting career. And if all else fails I still have my modeling to fall back on . So if I go broke at least I have my looks. LOL, thanks for taking the time to let me spill my guts. And hopefully you will be seeing me playing on TV, with the big boys.
