You’ve got to be able to check your email everywhere, right? At home, at work, on the road, in Starbucks. Now you can check your email inside the casino too. Cingular Wireless announced today that they have switched on an in-building wireless system at four major casinos in Atlantic City, including Bally's, Wild Wild West, the Claridge, and Caesars. This makes the company the only wireless carrier to provide coverage inside these four casinos.
"This is the largest in-building wireless system of its kind in Atlantic City," said Dan Lafond, Cingular Wireless' vice president and general manager for greater Philadelphia. "We've already heard from our customers about how thrilled they are to use their Cingular service inside these casinos.”
Over the next few weeks, Cingular Wireless has plans to turn on an in- building wireless system at the Borgata Hotel Casino. The company currently provides in-building coverage at all of the Trump casinos including Trump Plaza, Trump Marina, and the Taj Mahal.
