Excitement is building in the UK – a new mobile gambling product will soon bring one of the most popular video game characters to the world of mobile gambling. For years now, Tomb Raider and its lead character, Lara Croft, have been a hit in the video game market and have even been on the big screen twice with Angelina Jolie starring as the movie version of the video game hero. A partnership between Spin3 gaming and Microgaming will bring the successful Tomb Raider Online Video Slot game to the mobile phone and mobile gaming.
Since October 2004, the Tomb Raider Online Video Slot game has been a hit at brick and mortar casinos. Microgaming has even gained the rights to use the Tomb Raider game from Eidos Interactive, the company behind the successful video game series.
"Tomb Raider and its heroine Lara Croft are iconic gaming brands and Spin3 is proud to be launching Tomb Raider Video Slot into the mobile market," said Matti Zinder, CEO of Spin3. "Consumers will now be able to experience and enjoy this hugely popular game in a new and exciting way while on the move."
The Tomb Raider Online Video Slot game will use the Microgaming's GameWire v2.0 software technology. This software will provide the game with rich graphics that will make players forget they are using their cell phone to play.
