Former World Series of Poker player, Randy Zandstra, has been called up on charges of fraud. A federal Judge in New York was the one to issue a warrant for his arrest. However, some investigation will be necessary for officials to actually find the player.
Zandstra, who is reported to have been involved in many scams and cons, disappeared during a trial earlier in the year, not only confirming charges of fraud, but also violating parole from an earlier sentence. The 44 year-old has had a career in con artistry, scamming many people out of hundreds of dollars through the use of bogus investment schemes and other such plots, no doubt involving poker and gambling. A federal official said of Zandstra; “He’s a very smart guy. He’s got a bad temper, and he’s constantly pulling some kind of scam.” Sign up at Hollywood Poker to play online poker with celebrities
