The eyes of the online poker world will be focused on San Jose, Costa Rica this winter when the city will host the second annual Poker Industry Conference and Exposition. The top executives from the largest internet poker companies, major poker software providers, payment processors, marketing executives, poker affiliates, and affiliate managers will all make their way to the beautiful Costa Rica Marriott Hotel to talk poker. The Poker Industry Conference and Exposition will focus their attention on management and marketing strategies for online poker sites. With all of online poker’s top players making their way to Costa Rica, this will surely be an interesting event. Last year’s event attracted some of the top names in the industry, including professional poker players like Mike Caro and Doyle Brunson making their way to the event. Executives at the event will learn first-hand how much they know about poker when they participate in the event’s poker tournament. The tournament will be hosted in San Jose’s licensed casino, the Fiesta Casino. The biggest prize at this tournament will be the bragging rights that the winner will inherit. The Poker Industry Conference and Exposition will be held December 7-8, 2006.
