The people at Zodiac Gaming are expecting to stir up a lot of interest at the National Association of Broadcasters Show in Las Vegas, when they showcase their new product to some of the biggest players in the gaming and media world. The company has been working with Sun Microsystems to develop what many claim could be the biggest thing to hit the interactive gaming market in a long time. They now have working tool that allows its users to play online poker on a computer, television or mobile device. One of the more interesting things about this product is its ability to allow users an opportunity to play poker against anyone using the service, regardless of what platform they are using. There are a growing amount of people using their televisions and cell phones to surf the internet and play online games, including Texas Hold’em Poker. "Tremendous revenue opportunities exist in driving interactivity between the 60 million digital set-top boxes, 175 million personal computers and 210 million mobile phones in the U.S. Java technology provides the ideal platform on which to achieve this convergence. We are thrilled to be a part of Sun Microsystems' demonstration," explained Michael Rivkin, CEO, Develop-On-Box, parent company of Zodiac Gaming. The representatives at Zodiac Gaming and Sun Microsystems are excited to be participating in the National Association of Broadcasters Show, and they are hoping to spread the word about their new software during the event that runs April 24th to April 27th.
