The MontBleu Resort Casino & Spa broke into the casino world with a bang. They made their debut at Lake Tahoe, opening featuring Deal or No Deal host and comedy star Howie Mandel was a huge success. The MontBleu Resort Casino & Spa’s opening succeeded at bringing a strong element of style, sophistication, and entertainment to their May 24th opening at the casino formerly known as Caesars Tahoe.
Howie Mandel joined patrons of the 440-room-MontBleu at the various casino games including some time playing at the poker tables. The tourist hotspot is home to seven restaurants, four nightclubs, a brand new state-of-the-art poker room and many more exciting elements in the remodeled 40,000 square-foot casino. In addition to being loaded with some of the most exciting gambling action around, the MontBleu Resort Casino & Spa features an amazing postcard-like-view of Lake Tahoe wilderness. The casino’s décor and art were inspired by Lake Tahoe’s surrounding mountains and lakes truly bringing the Lake Tahoe wilderness inside the doors of the MontBleu.
"MontBleu is truly going to take the resort experience in Lake Tahoe to a new elevation, offering guests a taste of Las Vegas excitement within the beautiful, natural setting of the Sierra Nevada mountains," said Joe Yung, the director of development for Columbia Sussex Corp., MontBleu's parent company. "We wanted to create something more sophisticated than what visitors to this area have been accustomed to, and we envision MontBleu becoming a resort destination in and of itself."
In addition to being a great place to play casino games, the MontBleu Resort Casino & Spa wants to ensure their visitors are entertained with live performance from acts like Sugar Ray, Widespread Panic, 3 Doors Down, Jason Mraz and Staind booked over the summer.
