 Hollywood Poker celebrated its one year anniversary on November 9th, 2005. The site's star-power was led by Vince Van Patten, who was joined by other Hollywood Poker Celebrities and the Hollywood Poker Girls to commemorate a year of unprecedented success. Vince Van Patten commented on the event saying, "I think the site is growing very fast. People like to hobnob with celebrities. This is the one spot where the celebrities can play poker with anyone across the country and around the world." Also at the event was Hollywood Poker's party guest celebrity Shannon Elizabeth, who said "The site's amazing. It runs really well. I'm proud of these guys." This event appealed to numerous celebrities including Vince Van Patten, Rebecca Romijn Stamos, Allison Janney, Deborah Gibson, Dennis Quaid, Dick Van Patten, Willie Garson, ANT, Tom McGowan, Anthony Anderson, Ashley Peldon, Bai Ling, Becky Boger, Chris Jones, Christi Shake, Darcy Donovan, Ian Gomez, Janel Maloney, Jeffrey Ross, Jessalyn Gilsig, Jimmy Van Patten, Joe Santos, Jon Henson, Josh Malina, Joyce Van Patten, Katie Lohmann, Keira Chaplin, Kelly Hu, Kirsten Storms, Maxwell Caulfield, Michael DeLorenzo, Paige Peterson, Pamela Gidley, Paris Lastis, Patricia Rae, Rex Smith, Rodney Carrington, Roger Cross, Ronny Cox, Rosalie Ward, Samm Levine, Sara Rue, Sarah Kozer, Scott Baio, Shannon Elizabeth, Steve Valentine, Susan Blakely, Thea Andrews, Tiffany Holliday, and Tracey Scoggins. Hollywood Poker raised nearly $50,000 for charity through online tournaments and a silent auction. In addition, a $290,000 bid was placed a 2005 Porsche Carerra GT, donated by Porsche North American Troy Hanson. During the event Vince Van Patten presented checks to director of communication H.T. Linke for the American Red Cross and Dennis Quaid for his charity, International Hospital for Children to help Hurricane relief efforts. The anniversary celebration continued on the site with The Hollywood Poker 1st Anniversary $10,000 Free Roll.
