Bucharest is the haute cuisine of poker, where players can get a taste of traditional European elegance and exciting live tournament in the most prestigious casino in the city. Players can qualify for the Grand Series of Poker Live in Bucharest by winning one of over 50 $3,000 Main Event Packages all-inclusive of Main Event buy-in worth $1,600, 5-star Radisson SAS resort accommodations worth $500, travel and spending money worth $700, $200 hospitality allowance and HollywoodPoker clothing and merchandise.
There are five routes to qualify for GSOP Live. Players can work their way to Bucharest and to the Grand Final in Seville via HollywoodPoker's Daily Scheduled or Sit & Go Qualifier Tournaments – day in, day out for as low as $2.20. These qualifiers can give them entry to the GSOP Live in Bucharest online satellites, which run Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays from December 9th, 2010 – January 23rd, 2011, 2PM EDT/6PM UTC/GMT. Over 50 Main Event Packages to the live event in Bucharest are guaranteed up for grabs, with over 50 Main Event Packages more to send players to the next stop, Seville (worth $5,000 to the Grand Final).
New players choose HollywoodPoker not only to multiply and pad their bankrolls, but also for its reliable and top notch poker software, compatible for both PC and MAC. In addition, players can enter Grand Series of Poker Live via GSOP Live Super Step Coinflip Qualifiers. First, they have to register for Step 1 for a buy-in of $1.05. They have to win in Step 1 to qualify for Step 2, which they can also enter through a direct buy-in of $14.07. Winning Step 2 then qualifies players to Step 3, which they can also enter through a direct buy-in of $210. Each Step 3 qualifier tournament gives away three main event packages to Bucharest.
Aside from the aforementioned qualifiers, players can choose to play in online satellites for a direct buy-in of $320. Live event winners will pad their bankrolls with prize-money and get the chance to fly to Seville, Spain for the GSOP Live Grand Final. To throw in even more Main Event Packages, there will be a leaderboard for all live events, such as in the (recently concluded) Riga, Malta, and (on-going) Bucharest. The leaderboard winner will also win a $5,000 Main Event Package to Seville.
