GSOP 5 and mini started on September 19th and will continue to run Qualifiers everyday until October 3rd, 2010. With the first tickets to the GSOP 5 and mini $330,000 Grand Slam Finals up for grabs, the first half of events have seen thousands of players in attendance to secure a seat for the October 10th championship.
Players can work their way to the GSOP 5 and mini Grand Slam Finals through hundreds of qualifiers, summarized in five different routes. First, they can start playing in HollywoodPoker's Daily Scheduled or Sit & Go Qualifier Tournaments for as low as $1.20. Another way is through GSOP 5 or mini Main Events, which come in different kinds and buy-ins.
An easier route is through winning one of the GSOP 5 and mini Grand Slam Qualifiers with buy-ins lower than the Main Events. Players who do not win but whose game play remain consistently stellar can still enter the Finals by being in the first 100 spots of the GSOP 5 or mini leaderboards. And lastly, after all the qualifiers conclude on October 3rd, players can still qualify by playing in the Last Chance Qualifier happening two hours before the Grand Slam Final on October 10th.
