The EUR 5,000 European Poker Tour Prague no-limit hold'em championship took place in Czech Republic on December 18th, 2010, six days and 562 eliminations into the main event, where the heads-up championship was battled between Roberto Romanello and Italian, Emiliano Bono.
Romanello was active early in the tournament, taking a chiplead into the final. Bono, on the other hand, remained patient and let the rest of the pack bust ahead of him. Bono jumped into action through several vital double-ups, but Romanello angled his chips for attack with unbroken concentration, never weakening and losing his resolve to win. Nobody relented. Over the next hour, Romanello worked the chip stack to his favor. He went all-in finally, shutting the door on Bono, who took home EUR 435,000 in prize money.
This year's champion, Roberto Romanello walked away with EUR 640,000. “Each year, we send players to live international events. This is the reason why our player base increases by the day.
