 Celebrity player Billy Burke again plays Charlie Swan, Bella's humorous dad and Chief of Police in Forks, WA in the second installment of the Twilight saga, New Moon.
2009 romantic fantasy film, New Moon, is a sequel following the early success of Twilight, a story about a mortal, Bella Swan (Kirsten Stewart) and a vampire, Edward Cullen (Robert Pattinson) who fall in love. Charlie Swan (Billy Burke) steals the limelight as he brings in light humor in the midst of supernatural mystery and darkness.

In New Moon, the Cullens depart from Forks, WA in an attempt to stay away from Bella and put her life in great danger. Jacob Black (Taylor Lautner), member of a werewolf tribe, warms Bella's broken heart and protects her from the peril that still lingers. New Moon has set box office records as the biggest midnight screening with $26.3 million and biggest single day gross with $72.7 million.
Burke's films include “Untraceable,” a crime thriller starring Brynn Baron and Christopher Cousins; “Highland Park,” “Shadow Play,” and “Luster” all coming up on 2010.
