The 2010 Asian Pacific Poker Tour wrapped up this December 12th, 2010 at the Harbour City, Sydney. Jonathan Karamalikis and Benjamin McLean got down to the final heads-up play. At first, Karamalikis was a little down in chips. They battled back and forth, changing chip lead many times over a few hours. Karamalikis then pulled strongly away before finally crushing McLean in one hand. Karamalikis finished the competition on winning a flip with 5d5c against McLean's Ad6d. The board ran out a Qs4s2s2h2d and gave him a full house.
Jonathan Karamalikis took down 68 other poker players to become the 2010 APPT champion. He cashed AUS 459,510. The previous APPT Sydney winners are three Australians topping a mix of international players in the field. See the top winners who ended up in the money this year below:
