The Grand Series of Poker Live 2 marked a new milestone after successfully concluding its fourth event tour in Salzburg last weekend. After four days of live poker action, it was Germany's Thomas Butzhammer who bagged the crown, along with a huge €62,760 cash prize and a seat for the Grand Final event in Dominican Republic.
The young pro conquered the field of 252 poker players, eventually busting Austria's Markus Jenisch out the table in their heads-up battle. On the final hand of the poker tournament, Butzhammer opened to 90,000 before Jenisch three-bet to 230,000. The action rose as the German made it 400,000 and then called after his opponent went all-in for 1.3 million.
