$10 Million in Monthly Guaranteed Tournaments - Includes our biggest monthly tournament with several ways to buy-in via the many daily qualifiers. The prize pool is enormous and guaranteed to be at least $500,000! The Grand runs at the end of every month over a three-day period with qualifiers available virtually any time day or night!

Winter Special Freezeouts! - During this special two month period we're going to run two new weekly Winter Special tournaments:
On Sundays - a new $150,000 Guarantee tournament with a buy-in of $100+8 will debut at 15:00 EST.
On Tuesdays - a new $110,000 Guarantee tournament also with a buy-in of $100+8 will debut at the same hour.
Players can obtain a $100+8 tournament ticket by playing on regular qualifying scheduled or sit & go tournaments.

January 1st, 2008

Knock out our celebrities and win up to $500 in cash bounty with a low buy-in of $5 +0.50 at our Canadian Poker Night every Tuesday night at 10 pm EST.
There were many celebrities out on January 1 at the Canadian Poker Night tournament and congratulations to TPOWER-OF-GOD who received $250 for knocking out Kelli Williams, MO and Kirk Acevedo in our progressive bounties. RAISINGHECK also got $100 for knocking out Erik Palladino and Pamela Gidley.

January 5th, 2008 

Every Saturday at 2pm EST HollywoodPoker hosts the Michael Woods Celebrity Invitational. HollywoodPoker extends an invitation to all our players to join us and our celebrity friends for an exciting evening of tournament poker. As an added bonus, players who successfully knock out guest Celebrities will receive bounty prizes and HollywoodPoker merchandise.

snakeeyes62 took out Yancey Arias, Stephen Rannazzisi and Kirk Acevedo for $250. Tony Griffin and Josh Malina got knocked out by Locutus1961. Jimmie Walker and Ken Howard were taken out by bollywoodnz. MO and Tony Denison were taken out by big_t_d. All three players received $100.

January 6th, 2008 

Every Sunday in August at 2pm EST we hold the HollywoodPoker Celebrity Classic with Ronny Cox. The Celebrity Classic poker tournament offers celebrity bounties up to $2,000 in cash prizes. Yancey Arias was the last celebrity standing for 2008's first edition of the HollywoodPoker Celebrity Classics held on January 6, 2008.

Congratulations to GermFalcon who received $250 for taking out Yancey Arias, Matt Borlenghi and MO. Dean Cain and Willie Garson were taken out by Yancey Arias. Seth Meyers and Stephen Rannazzisi were taken out by MAYOTE. Tom McGowan and Erik Palladino were taken out by martl089. All six celebrity busters received $100.

Randy Wayne is the latest celebrity to have joined our list of Stars. A Hollywood-based actor who found his first 15 seconds of fame by appearing in UK reality-TV show Shipwrecked in 2002, he stood out from the crowd as one of the few American contestants amongst a predominantly British group. Randy can be seen in Grizzly Park which is slated for a 7 February 2008 release. A modern genre spin on the biblical tale of Elisha, it is a story about the offer of forgiveness and redemption in the face of death.

Shaun Toub who plays at HollywoodPoker is an actor in prime time. He is best known for the role as Farhad, an Iranian mistaken for an Arab in Crash which won the Academy Award for Best Picture in 2006 as well as a total of 42 other wins and 63 nominations in all award shows.

A dapper man with the suaveness of his upscale Persian roots, his career is currently soaring with The Kite Runner which has received two Golden Globe Awards nominations for Best Foreign Language Film and Best Original Score.

Shaun will also appear in the much anticipated Marvel Comics adaptation Iron Man as Professor Yinsen, which will be released on May 2, 2008. HollywoodPoker's soap celebrity Eileen Davidson is back in Genoa City for a period, three-episode story arc, reprising the role of Ashley Abbott, which she started on The Young and the Restless back in 1982.

Davidson's character visits her former gathering place, before Ashley Abbott made her way to the fame and glamorous Los Angeles fashion world in The Young and the Restless spin-off, The Bold and the Beautiful. Continue reading Eileen's story here.
