 Freeroll Your Way into the WSOP!

The distance between you and a seat in the WSOP is closer than the space between a bad beat and the bar – with all the buzz and without the eventual hangover.

Hollywood Poker is hosting not one, but FOUR incredible WSOP Tournaments bound to suit any schedule and style and bound to take you to the top.

1) World Series of Poker – Freeroll Your Way to Fame

Daily Qualifiers in the 3 months leading up to the WSOP, each daily event will guarantee 10 tickets to the Freeroll Main Event.
Main Event – June 30th: Winner will receive a $12,500 WSOP prize package. 

2) WSOP Celebrity Shootout

The WSOP Celebrity Shootout is scheduled for July 1st and will be a NL Texas Hold’em direct buy-in event that will offer a guaranteed prize pool of $10,000 and the WSOP prize package worth $12,500. The winner will receive the prize package and cash prizes will pay from 2nd place down with a flat payout structure.
*All participating Celebrities will have $100 bounties placed on them.

3) World Series of Poker – clubHOLLYWOODpoker Freeroll

Exclusive WSOP clubHOLLYWOODpoker Freeroll! The winner will receive a WSOP main event package valued at $12,500. 1st place gets a $12,500 WSOP prize package and the $5000 monthly prize pool will pay from 2nd place downward.

Celebrity Poker Night with Dule Hill

Be it on stage, TV, the big-screen or at the tables, Hollywood Poker Celebrity Player Dule Hill can really put on a show – it’s no wonder everyone’s pumped to have him hosting the March 21st Celebrity Poker Night. You may recognize Dule from his performances in the feature film She’s all That, the hit series The West Wing and his new show, Hellion. Hey everyone! 

I believe I was one of the first people to sign up on Hollywood Poker.  I saw an ad in a magazine about this new site and thought I’d give it a try.  I have played at other sites and this has, by far, been my favorite. I've been playing some form of poker for a number of years but I like nothing better than playing a little No Limit Hold’em. I stay mostly at the low stakes, no limit tables. I've had my ups and downs and have met a lot of very nice people. 

I like how the tables show where people are from (although my nickname pretty much tells where I live).  I've run into people I know and friends of friends and that gives you a sense of familiarity when you can sit down and say ‘hello’ to someone. I try to keep the trash talking to a minimum but sometimes...well let’s just say some people can push your buttons. LOL.

Write to Win: The World Series of Poker

The WSOP for poker players is like the Iron Man for athletes – with the exception that ANYONE can enter the WSOP if you have the money and not the talent. Won’t last long though.

I’ve been playing poker for over 40 years and this year is my year. I’m going to the WSOP. This has been a dream of mine for sometime and my wife and I have both agreed it’s time to give it a go. Now, I’ve just heard Hollywood Poker is hosting some WSOP qualifiers, so I am going to take a shot at those first. Call it Plan A. Plan B is that my wife packs the nervous wreck that will be me into our truck, drives me down there, kicks me out at the casino door and drives away before I know what’s happened.

I’ll let you all know how it goes.
