HollywoodPoker.com gives you no excuse to play hooky from our tournament tables. From our featured tournaments to our daily tournaments, there is a game to fit every schedule and style of player. Here are a few examples:
Sit ‘n’ Go tournaments are ideal for players who love the action of James Woodsmulti-table tournaments but can’t commit the time or patience to play. Sit ‘n’ Go tournaments are offered 24/7 – all you have to do is pick a table with a limit you like, sit in and then wait for the table to finish filling. In a Sit ‘n’ Go tournament, each player starts the tournament with exactly the same amount of chips. There are both Limit and No Limit Hold’em Sit ‘n Go tournaments. Play continues until one player has all of the chips. The top three players split the prize pool, 1st prize being 50%, 2nd prize 30%, and 3rd prize 20%. These single table tournaments are offered in several varying entry fees so anyone can enjoy them.
The Lucky Dollar tournament starts off with $2500 extra added to the prize pool! What’s better is that the buy-in is only $1! The Lucky Dollar tournament takes place every Saturday at 3pm EST. This is a great tournament for players new to the site or poker in general!
Every Friday at 10pm EST, you can take part in a $50K Guaranteed tournament. This means that the house guarantees $50K! Depending on how many people play and rebuy (buy more chips once yours have run out) the prize pool may be even more! If you are a heavy hitter, then a buy-in of $30 + 3 will give you a chance to score some serious cash. We also offer a $40K tournament with a $20 + 2 buy-in every Monday to Thursday at 10pm EST.
