Rafe Furst
Before poker paid the bills, Rafe Furst put the bread on the table by being a web entrepreneur in the online games and promotions world. In 2005 Rafe Furst started to take playing poker a little more serious, he won the no limit Texas Hold 'em Ultimate Poker Challenge and the $1,500 prize that came with it. That was not the only poker victory Rafe Furst secured that year, he also finished fifth in the Ladies Only poker event at Bay101 and he dressed up like a woman to get into the event.
More recently Rafe Furst earned his biggest poker bragging rights yet in the $1,500 Pot Limit Hold'em WSOP event, where his eight and four of diamonds knocked Rocky Enciso out of the World Series of Poker event. Not only did Rafe Furst take home his first WSOP bracelet, he won $345,984.
