Jeff Madsen
Summer break is a time when college students around the country enjoy the summer relaxing and having good times with friends, Jeff Madsen chose to earn $660,948 and became the youngest winner in the history of the World Series of Poker. Not a bad summer job, considering it worked out to pay roughly $20,000 an hour.
For the third straight year, the WSOP has found itself rewriting the record for the youngest World Series of Poker winner. The mark is currently set by Jeff Madsen at the age of 21 years, three months and three days.
The WSOP record did not come easy. First, Jeff Madsen had to win the $2,000 No Limit Hold'em and beat a surprising 1,578 players to secure the record-setting poker win. The big poker win has not changed Madsen's plans to return to school in the fall.
