Bluff Poker Radio will get some excellent help during their broadcast of this year’s World Series of Poker. The poker news company recently announced that veteran sports announcer Howard David will lead the station’s listeners through the WSOP action. Bluff Poker Radio will bring poker fans WSOP action 10 hours a day for each of the 43 days the World Series of Poker hosts events. The poker radio station is broadcasted via the Sirius radio network.
"We are thrilled to have a play-by-play veteran like Howard David anchor the WSOP Broadcast," said Bluff Media co-president Eddy Kleid. "His experience with the NFL, NBA, Olympics, and the PGA will prove invaluable as we bring the World Series of Poker to Radio."
Howard David will have some help in the broadcast booth with the likes of Fox Sports Analyst Nick Geber, poker journalist John Vorhaus and professional poker legend Phil Gordon – all lending their voices to the WSOP broadcast.
"When I was approached about broadcasting the World Series of Poker, I was honoured to get involved with such a prestigious event." explained Howard David. "I felt it would be a new challenge for me in the same light as the first Super Bowl I was fortunate to broadcast, as well as the five that followed. I am delighted to have a role in this major undertaking and to announce the winner of the largest purse in all of sports."
The Bluff Poker Radio broadcast of the World Series of Poker will truly bring poker fans to the WSOP’s tables. In addition to broadcasting, David and his crew will bring you tournament analysis, interviews, and a chance for home listeners to interact with the event by acting your questions to the poker pros.
