Card Player Magazine is not only the poker world’s news source in the print industry, they are also planning to become your source for World Series of Poker information on the internet. The largest poker magazine in the world recently announced their plans for improvements to their web site; they will use new tools to provide WSOP fans the latest news and information on the world-class poker tournament.
"We've made CardPlayer.com a much more user-friendly site. Technically, we can handle much more traffic and we are really geared up to be the premier content provider for the World Series of Poker," said Card Player Chief Technology Officer Alex Kah.
The main part of the upgrade was the site’s ability to now handle more traffic. The navigation was also improved along with live-tournament reporting on the WSOP with live chip count information and multimedia online news.
There are also some new tools on the Card Player web site that many poker players will enjoy. There is a poker odds calculator, there is a section that offers profiles on the top professional poker players and of course the usual tips and poker tutorial information.
"CardPlayer.com's new look and features continue to further position Card Player as the leader in the industry and give our fans the best and most comprehensive poker coverage on the planet," explained Card Player publisher Barry Shulman.
The updates to Card Player’s website comes just in tip for the World Series of Poker, earlier this month the WSOP announced that Card Player will be the exclusive source for the tournament’s news and other content.
