The charming and beautiful Sarah Chalke plays Elliot Reid, close friend and fellow physician to John "J.D." Dorian (Zach Braff) at the Sacred Heart Hospital, where Scrubs takes place. The show focuses on the interaction between these and other characters and often results in hilarity. Our Sarah is joined by fellow Hollywood Poker player, Neil Flynn, who plays The Janitor. Both of these outstanding talents shine on the show, which has received huge press and critical acclaim since its inception in 2001. The production has garnered 10 Emmy nominations and one Emmy win for Multi-Camera Picture Editing.
Sarah Chalke's career began at the very young age of 8 when she began to appear in some musical theatre productions. Her breakout role came at the age of 17 when she took the role of Becky on the television show, Roseanne. The success of Scrubs has been the centerpiece of her career, leading to movie roles in 2007, including one alongside Napoleon Dynamite star, Jon Heder.
Neil Flynn plays the hilarious Janitor, the bane of J.D.'s existence. He originally auditioned for the role of Dr. Perry Cox, which was to go to John C. McGinley, but producers were so impressed with Flynn's performance that they wrote the Janitor character into the rest of the series after he was originally slated for only the pilot. Flynn has made many other appearances in the entertainment world, including opposite Lindsay Lohan in the movie, Mean Girls, in the television shows CSI, Boston Public, The Drew Carey Show and Smallville as well as in other films such as The Fugitive, Major League and HOOT.
