Set in the 1950s, a time when America was socially conservative and highly materialistic, this comedy follows the glamorous Anne Deveraux who after discovering her husband's philandering ways, rashly embarks on a drive down the Eastern Seaboard and westward in an extravagant search for life, liberty and the pursuit of a wealthy new husband to fund a fresh start in life for her and her sons George and Robbie. We are taken through each of her hilarious and at times embarrassing romantic misadventures from Boston to Pittsburg and St. Louis and all the way to the promised land of Hollywood, much to the dismay of her sons. Along the way, mother and sons discover more about each other and themselves than they could ever imagine.
This August 21st, see Robin absolutely sparkle as Anne's sister Hope in this indie movie which stars Academy award-winner Renée Zellweger (Monsters vs Aliens), Chris Noth (Sex and the City), Logan Lerman (Gamer), Kevin Bacon (Frost/Nixon), Steven Weber (Brothers & Sisters), Eric Mccormack (Will & Grace), and Mark Rendall (Arthur).
Look out for Robin, who earned herself an Emmy nomination for playing Calamity Jane in HBO's acclaimed series Deadwood, starring as a physician seduced by a Civil War ghost, in supernatural thriller The Undying with newcomer Anthony Carrigan (The Forgotten).
