Our very own hunky HollywoodPoker Celebrity Player, Jeff Probst, who's famous for hosting the highest rated reality television series of it's time, Survivor, has not only become a familiar face in billions of households across the globe, he was also awarded a much coveted Emmy for his amazing work on the series that is currently in it's fifteenth season.
This year around Jeff has not only been nominated for another Emmy, he has ALSO been chosen to host the award ceremony, happening on September 21st, alongside fellow reality series comrades, Heidi Klum (Project Runway), Tom Bergeron (Dancing With The Stars), Ryan Seacrest (American Idol) and Howie Mandel (Deal Or No Deal).
We were lucky enough to catch him amidst his busy schedule and here's what he had to say about his participation in this prestigious event "I'm very excited about being nominated and also hosting the Emmy Awards, but I'd feel so much more comfortable if I could get Ryan, Tom, Howie and Heidi to sit down at the poker table with me. I'd go all-in and they'd go down!" You go Jeff! We'll be rooting for ya!
In the past, Jeff was also nominated as one of People Magazine's '50 Most Beautiful People' list in 2001 and in the same year he wrote and directed an independent movie, Finder's Fee which starred a host of stellar casts including, James Earl Jones and Robert Forster. His work garnered hi, accolades in the industry and he went on to win the Best Picture and Best Director awards at the Seattle Film Festival and Breakthrough Director at Sonoma Valley Film Festival.
