Hollywood Poker was at the 2006 L.A. Poker Classic's No-Limit Hold'em Championship this year, represented by our poker ambassador James Woods. James did great, playing through right to day four of the event. After a long first day, James entered day two with $42k in chips. At one point during day two, he was well over the $200,000 chip count and was one of the chip leaders. After a few tough beats, however, he was knocked all the way back down to $56,200 in chips. James entered the fourth and final day of the L.A. Poker Classic with $330,000 in chips and sitting in 16th position. He hadn't played many hands in day four when his pocket queens ran into the pocket aces of Michael Woo. The board did not help Woods' hand and he was eliminated in 24th place. We want to congratulate Jimmy on pushing through to day four and representing Hollywood Poker at the L.A. Poker Classic. Great job!
