HollywoodPoker Celebrity Player Michael Ian Black has joined the cast of hilarious up-coming comedy, Young Americans that's slated for release January 30th 2009! In the fashion of good old 80's comedy, Young Americans' follows the traipsing of a seemingly aimless college graduate, Matt, whose only resolution in life is to pursue the girl of his dreams. His break comes at a Labour Day weekend party, where along with his twin sister struggle their way through the course of the night contemplating live and relationships.
Halfway through the eventful evening of the Labour Day party, Matt who has him eyes pretty much stuck on the love of his life decides to "save her" by applying the Heimlich manoeuvre, soon after painfully realising that it was another girl who was choking! The apple of his eye, indulges him with a dance, watching him hopelessly engage in a basic 1-2-3 shuffle he simply cannot get!
Matt's sister isn't spared from the night's emotionally charged atmosphere, becoming the recipient of an indecent wedding proposal from her high school boyfriend of six years, with these ‘unforgettable ‘ lines "You're my little Venetian, and I love the way you hang in my window. You open up to show me the world, and close to shield and protect me." That's just a snippet of the guffaws to come, so look out for Young Americans coming to you in January!
