On September 11th, find out what America's favorite pistol-packing grandma Madea is up to once again. Madea catches teenager Jennifer and her brothers Manny and Byron looting her home and decides to take matters into her own hands. She delivers the young looters to the only relative they know, Aunt April a nightclub singer who drinks heavily and lives off her married boyfriend Raymond. Naturally, April wants nothing to do with the children but she has a change of heart when Sandino, a Mexican immigrant looking for a job moves into her basement. In exchange for room and board, Sandino makes improvements to April's home and even her heart. He challenges her to open her heart. April is soon challenged to make tough choices in her life in terms of continuing her old ways with Raymond and the new possibilities of family, faith and true love.
Joining Adam in this comedy are Taranji P. Henson (The Curious Case of Benjamin Button), Brian White (The Shield), Tyler Perry (Madea Goes to Jail) plus recording artists Mary J. Blige and the legendary Gladys Knight.
