Willie Garson
Biography
Willie started studying acting at the Actor's Institute in New York at age 13. When he was finished with his early education there, he majored in theatre and psychology at Wesleyan University.
It didn't take long for Willie to be noticed and land guest spots and recurring roles on prominent TV shows, like Friends, The X-Files, The Practice, Just Shoot Me, Party of Five, Melrose Place and Ally McBeal. Willie's impressive total of TV appearances totals over 200.
Willie's ability to tackle unique and challenging roles also scored him parts in major motion pictures such as, There's Something About Mary, Groundhog Day, Kingpin, Mars Attacks, The Rock, Being John Malkovich, Play it to the Bone and Disney's Freaky Friday.
It doesn't end there though. Willie has also showcased his talents with renowned theatre companies like Naked Angels, The Manhattan Theatre Club, the Roundabout Theatre and the Geffen Playhouse in LA.
He is however, best known for playing Stanford Blatch on the HBO series Sex and the City.
