Born and raised in Moore, Oklahoma he was a stand-out athlete in baseball and swimming. He attended Campbellsville University on a swimming and cross country scholarship. After his first year of college he moved out to Orange County, California for a change of pace where his mother urged him to take acting classes.
After a couple years of classes he was convinced that there is life after sports and moved to Los Angeles to begin his journey. Yet, true to his Oklahoma roots, he is still and will always be a University of Oklahoma football fan.
