Biography

Michael’s rare brand of wry humor helped him start his acting career as a member of the comedy troop ‘The State’. You may also recognize Michael from his appearance on MTV’s show called by the same name.

Since then, Michael has had a reoccurring role on Reno 911 and he is a regular writer for McSweeny’s Internet Tendency, where he contributes the delightfully sardonic column, ‘Michael Ian Black is a Very Famous Celebrity’.

You may also have seen Michael in action on the hit TV show, Ed and the VH1 series, I love the...where he cracks-up audiences with his insightful spoofs on pop-culture.
