Biography

Matt is recognized by the Hollywood media as one of Hollywood’s hottest rising young stars.

Born in Moses Lake, Washington, Matt, of Cuban, Irish/English descent, has always been active in sports and had an aspiring career towards pro football when a debilitating knee injury abruptly put an end to that particular career direction. Renewed inspiration came when Matt was approached on his college campus by an acting and modeling manager. Before the school semester ended, he was off to Italy on a modeling assignment for Versace. Matt continued to juggle academics and a modeling career in Milan, Spain, New York, and Los Angeles. One year after moving to Los Angeles, Matt landed a strong theatrical agent and studied with some of the industry's most respected acting coaches.

Matt's unfailing down to earth inner qualities have always brought an additional shine to his disarmingly stunning looks, and it's something People magazine recognized twice. People Magazine voted Matt as one of the 50 most beautiful People in the World in May 2002 and then again in March 2004, People En Espanol Magazine listed Matt as one of the 25 Hottest Latin Bachelors in the World.

Matt can be seen in Oxygen's original film Romancing the Bride in which he stars as ‘Carlos' opposite Laura Prepon's ‘Melissa'. Matt can also be seen in two upcoming Independent films, Hoboken Hollow and Hot Tamale.

You may also recognize Matt from UPN's Half and Half and as a guest star on the hit TV series, That 70's Show.

Three years in a row, Matt was nominated for an ALMA award as Outstanding Actor in a Daytime Drama for his work as Brandon Walker on NBC's Days of Our Lives. He was the only actor from NBC Daytime to be nominated each year. Matt completed his fourth year on Days of Our Lives, and continues to be one of the most popular actors on television.

Matt also successfully played a young boxer in the feature film, Price of Glory and he also appeared in the highly acclaimed, The Suburbans with Jennifer Love Hewitt and Ben Stiller.

What's new with Matt Cedeño?
	Matt is very involved with helping Padres Contra El Cancer which is an organization devoted to helping economically disadvantaged Latino families in Los Angeles County whose children have been diagnosed with cancer, most of whom are terminal. He continues to study his acting techniques while working and he remains physically active, enjoying sports such as boxing, soccer, baseball, skiing.
