Jon Kelley

Biography

Before becoming a well-known co-anchor on Extra, Jon Kelley was a starring running-back for the University of Nebraska, where he also pursued his BA in broadcast journalism. After his undergrad, he was drafted as a free agent by the Denver Broncos. Despite his undisputable talent on the field, he felt his calling was in broadcasting.

After over a decade of gaining praise and national acclaim for his work as a sports correspondent on shows like The National Sports Report and Baseball Today, Jon joined Extra as the weekend co-host and the primary correspondent for the daily show.

Jon's intensely passionate and competitive nature has carried over to poker and has taken him to the WPT. Without a doubt, Jon is a worthy adversary at the tables.
