Francesco Quinn
Biography
Francesco made a name for himself in the same industry as his father, Anthony Quinn. Like his father, he's an actor whose versatility is known, respected and sought after. He may best be known for his breakout role as the underground drug lord Rhah in Oliver Stone's Platoon.
His ability to convincingly portray a wide variety of characters has landed him a myriad of television guest star roles. The most recent was on CBS's The Fugitive as Victor Gutierrez, a DEA agent with an edge. You may also recognize Francesco as one of the stars of CBS's hottest soap, Young and the Restless. He was nominated for an ALMA Award as Outstanding Actor in a Daytime Soap Opera for his work as Tomas Del Cerro.
Francesco's talents extend to his work in 23 feature films including Placebo Effect, which won at the New York Independent Film Festival. He's also starred with his famous father in several films, including A Star For Two with Lauren Bacall.
Francesco's competitive streak goes beyond the poker table. He enjoys extreme sports such as skiing, snowboarding, windsurfing, and free diving. A minimum of 300 miles a week on a road bike keeps him on the leading edge, mentally and physically. He also mountain bikes and actively races motorcross and street bikes. When he's in the mood to take the speed up a notch, he takes out his motorcycle.
