Eileen Davidson

Biography

Eileen is most known for her work on Days of Our Lives, which garnered her much deserved attention for being the first daytime actress to play five separate characters at the same time. This attention won her an Emmy nomination for Best Actress in 1998.

Eileen's unquestionable talent - not to mention stellar good-looks - has made her a memorable and respected soap star. In fact, her performance as Ashley Abbott on The Young and the Restless was so popular that when she left the show, the producers hired an actress who looked like her to help minimize the audience's disappointment. When Eileen returned to the show 11 years later to play Ashley again, the overwhelming viewer enthusiasm made it evident that her talent had been missed.

Davidson was nominated for a Daytime Emmy in the category of Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series in 2003, and was nominated for a Soap Opera Award for Favorite Return in 1999. She previously portrayed Kelly Capwell on the daytime drama Santa Barbara. Davidson also starred in the primetime television series Broken Badges and the telefilm Sharing Richard with Ed Marinaro

Her feature film credits include starring roles in Eternity with Jon Voight and Armande Assante, and Easy Wheels with Paul LeMat. She also starred in The House on Sorority Row.

In 2002, Eileen married fellow Hollywood Poker Celebrity, Vince Van Patten.
