Don Most
Biography
Don is probably best known for his co-starring role as Ralph in the long running television series Happy Days. During this time, he worked with such emerging talents as Ron Howard and Garry Marshall.
Since then, Don has continued with extensive work in film, television and theater. Among his feature film credits are ED TV, directed by Ron Howard; and Crazy Mama, directed by Jonathan Demme. He recently appeared in the indie films, Planting Melvin, Finding Madison, and has just finished work on The Great Buck Howard, starring John Malkovich, Colin Hanks, and Tom Hanks.
His numerous television appearances include, Century City, Star Trek:Voyager, Yes, Dear, The Crow ,Sabrina, Sliders, Diagnosis Murder, Dark Skies, and co-starring roles in the Showtime movie, Acting on Impulse, and the CBS film, Dead Man’s Island.
Following in the footsteps of some of his peers, Don has also been doing some work behind the camera. He recently directed his second feature film, MOOLAH, starring Daniel Baldwin, William Mapother, Treat Williams, and Curtis Armstrong.
His first feature film, The Last Best Sunday, had its World Premiere at the Seattle International Film Festival, and was a feature film winner at the Telluride IndieFest.
On stage, Don directed the world premiere of Is There Life After Birth , and the Los Angeles Premiere of Doubles, both at the Tamarind Theater in Hollywood. Other plays he has directed in Los Angeles include Postcards, The Mystic Palace, and the one acts – Touch and Finding the Flame, for the Malibu One Act Festival. Don has also directed numerous staged play readings, working with such actors as Charles Durning, George Segal, Bruce Davison, Jean Smart, and Elizabeth Ashley.
As an actor, among more than 25 other productions, Don starred in the West Coast Premiere of Strike Up The Band, at Los Angeles’ Dorothy Chandler Pavilion, and the American Premiere of Abel’s Sister in New York City. He also toured with the Broadway Company of Grease, and with Dick Van Dyke in a production of Damn Yankees. He was recently seen at The Malibu Stage Company in a staged reading of “A Walk In The Woods”, with Bruce McGil. .
