Dean Cain
Biography
Dean began to seriously consider an acting career after a nasty knee injury cut short his life as a professional football player – and millions of women have never been more grateful. His portrayal of Clarke Kent/Superman in the hit series, Lois & Clarke: The New Adventures of Superman firmly established him as one of the most charismatic and desired talents in Hollywood.
Prior to his break-through role as the man of steel, Dean appeared in a slew of commercials and television shows, including Beverly Hills: 90210. Since then, he’s gone on to host and produce the wildly popular reality TV show, Ripley’s Believe It or Not as well as guest-star in popular series like Law & Order: SVU and Las Vegas.
Dean’s work in major-motion pictures began in 1984 with The Stone Boy, but he did not play a leading role until his portrayal of an ex-Green Beret in Best Man in 1998. Other notable film credits include Rat Race, Dark Descent and Breakaway.
