Biography
Billy simply exudes confidence as Charlie Swan in the vampire megahit Twilight. No doubt his gigs in other notable Hollywood features such as protective Det. Eric Box in Untraceable, corrupt cop Lt. Robert Nunally in Fracture, heroic Dennis Gauquin in Ladder 49 and mysterious FBI agent Ben Devine in Along Came A Spider have helped. These big screen efforts elevated Billy's profile as he worked on television in memorable recurring appearances as abusive father Gary Matheson in 24 and as Bobby's big brother Jack Newman in My Boys. Of course, who can forget Billy's lighter side in the hit spoof Jane Austen's "MAFIA!" or the mockumentary cult favorite, Dill Scallion in which he plays an inept country music star.
As a screenwriter, Billy has also lent his skills to movies such as the underground horror send up Dead And Breakfast. At age 9 (about the same time he started playing poker), he picked up his first guitar and has been singing and writing songs ever since.
