ANT
Biography
Since he first saw Whoopi Goldberg’s solo-act on HBO, New Hampshire native ANT was dedicated to the pursuit of becoming a comedian. His move to Los Angeles in 1989 proved extremely helpful for his comedic endeavors and it wasn’t long before ANT was noticed and courted by film and television bigwigs, including E! (Talk Soup), WB (Jamie Foxx Show and For Your Love) and NBC, where he was the only comedian to appear in all 3 seasons of NBC’s smash-hit, Last Comic Standing.
ANT’s high-energy performances also won him a role in Dirk Shafer’s acclaimed, Circuit and an appearance in the film Twin Falls Idaho – a favorite at the Sundance Festival.
You may have also seen ANT as a celebrity panelist on the game show, To Tell the Truth, as a correspondent on CNBC’s The Dennis Miller Show and Comedy Central’s Premium Blend. His relationship with Comedy Central recently spawned his debut album Follow My Ass, which sold out during the first week of the CD’s release.
While we wouldn’t recommend trying to out smack-talk ANT at the tables, that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t try to take a few digs into his chip stack!
